JourneyMate - Appellation Wine Tours Giveaway Terms and Conditions

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING THE PROMOTION.

By entering the giveaway (“Promotion”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and our separate Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not participate.

1. Promoter

• 1.1. Promoters: The Promotion is conducted by JourneyMate Limited in partnership with Appellation Wine Tours (“Promoters”).

2. Eligibility

• 2.1. Age: Entry is open to individuals aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.

• 2.2. Geographic: The Promotion is open worldwide; however, the prize must be redeemed in New Zealand.

• 2.3. Social Accounts: Entrants must have a valid Instagram or Facebook account.

• 2.4. Platform: The JourneyMate app is currently available to iOS users only.

3. How to Enter

• 3.1. Account Creation: Download the JourneyMate app and create an account.

• 3.2. Package Creation: Use the JourneyMate agentic AI system to design a bespoke wine tour package with Appellation Wine Tours for no more than two people.

• 3.3. Screenshot: Take a screenshot of the created package.

• 3.4. Survey: Complete the short survey that appears after screenshotting. This equals ONE entry to the contestant.

• 3.5. Social Sharing: Contestant can gain 5 additional entries by sharing the screenshot of the bespoke package publicly on Instagram or Facebook story, tagging both:
  @GetJourneyMate
  @AppellationWineTours

• 3.6. Entry Limit: Only one entry per person is permitted.

4. Promotion Period

• 4.1. Start and End: The Promotion begins on 6 October 2025 and closes at 11:59 pm NZDT on 30 November 2025.

• 4.2. Late Entries: Entries received after this date will not be eligible.

5. Prize

• 5.1. Description: One winner will receive a bespoke wine tour package for a maximum of two people, to be fulfilled by Appellation Wine Tours.

• 5.2. Adjustments: The Promoters reserve the right to re-work the winning package with the winner if circumstances prevent or materially affect the original booking (including date availability, tour options, seasonal changes, or operational constraints). Adjustments may affect content, duration, or value.

• 5.3. Exclusions: The prize does not include travel or accommodation costs to Appellation Wine Tours.

• 5.4. Non-transferable: The prize is not transferable, refundable, or redeemable for cash.

• 5.5. Redemption: The prize must be redeemed within 6 months of the winner being announced, unless otherwise agreed by the Promoters.

• 5.6. Changes and Cancellations: Once the prize is redeemed and a tour date confirmed, amendments or cancellations require at least 48 hours’ notice and approval by Appellation Wine Tours.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

• 6.1. Selection: The winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period.

• 6.2. Announcement: The winner will be announced during the first week of December 2025 on JourneyMate’s official Instagram and Facebook accounts.

• 6.3. Contact: The winner will also be contacted directly via the social media account used to enter. If the winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, another winner may be selected.

7. Publicity

• By entering, participants agree that the Promoters may use their name, social media handle, and entry content for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation.

8. Liability

• The Promoters are not responsible for technical issues, network failures, or delays affecting entry or participation.

• The Promoters are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense incurred as a result of participating in the Promotion or accepting the prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

• JourneyMate is currently in public beta. Participation in the beta is at the entrant’s own discretion.

9. Privacy

• Personal information provided will be used solely for administering the Promotion and handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

10. General

• The Promoters reserve the right to verify entries and disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process or fails to comply with these Terms.

• The Promoters may amend, suspend, or cancel the Promotion at any time without notice.

• This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Instagram or Facebook. Entrants release Instagram and Facebook from all liability.

• These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
